About Master Mechanical

It is all printed on the shirt.

Look at what the Master Mechanical crew wears and you have the whole business: HEAT & AIR, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL and GAS, stacked under the name. Those are the four lines of work the crew carries. All of them end up inside the same Middle Tennessee house, and the same crew has been running them out of Spring Hill since 2014.

Master Mechanical is locally owned and operated. It installs, services, maintains, repairs and replaces residential and commercial HVAC, and does the plumbing, electrical and gas work that connects to it.

Before the walls go up

Four lines are easiest to run when somebody planned all four.

This is a lot before the house goes up: block stacked beside the footings, nothing framed yet. It is a good picture of why one crew for all four trades makes sense. The air handler, the water supply, the electrical disconnect and the gas line all have to end up in the same building, and they are far easier to place together while the walls are still open than to squeeze in around each other later.

Older homes get the same thinking in reverse. When something quits, the crew opens the panel, takes the readings and follows the problem down whichever line it lives on, instead of handing the homeowner from one company to the next.

What they believe in

Two habits that save a system.

Master Mechanical shares the same two tips with customers again and again, because they are the ones that matter most for the least effort.

  1. 1

    Change the filter every month.

It is the cheapest and easiest thing a homeowner can do for a system's performance and efficiency. A clogged filter starves the unit of air, and everything downstream works harder to make up for it. It costs a few dollars and a minute.

  2. 2

Give the outdoor unit some shade and some room.

Covering the unit with an awning or an enclosure can help it last longer, and shrubs and brush that grow into the system are worth clearing away before they cause a problem. The unit sits outside all year; a little protection and clearance goes a long way.

Where the lines run

Spring Hill, Columbia and the counties between.

The shop is at 3542 Jim Warren Rd in Spring Hill, and the work reaches across Middle Tennessee: Spring Hill, Columbia, and the surrounding Maury and Williamson counties. Homes and businesses in that stretch are the ones that see the logo shirts show up.

Pick the line you need below, or just call and say what quit.
